WHAT IS HYPERBARIC OXYGEN TREATMENT?


Hyperbaric oxygen treatment is a medical treatment that is applied to a patient who is completely pressurized in a pressure chamber by breathing 100% oxygen intermittently. The patient may receive oxygen from the mask, cap, medium or endotracheal tube, depending on the type of pressure chamber and the condition of the patient. 


WHICH DISEASES DO WE USE HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY?


-Conditions for delayed wound healing (Diabetic, non-diabetic)

-Venous ulcers-Thromboanjitis obliterans

-Buerger ulcer wounds Post-operative infection and wounds

-Infection and Inflammatory reaction due to internal joint prosthesis Complications of internal orthopedic prosthetic devices implants and grafts Necrosis of amputation stump

-Acute osteomyelitis of head bones, sternum and vertebrae Crush injuries, compartment syndrome and other acute traumatic ischemia Radiation necrosis Necrotizing infections of soft tissue (subcutaneous, muscle, fascia)

-Gas gangrene-Idiopathic aseptic necrosis of bone (stage 1, early stage 2)

-Central retinal artery and branch obstruction (first 5 days)-Sudden hearing loss (first 30 days)
